Iran puts up a large billboard in Tehran showing President Donald Trump lying dead in a coffin.
Iran has installed a large billboard in the capital city, Tehran, depicting United States President Donald Trump lying dead inside a coffin.
The billboard was placed at Enghelab Square, one of Tehran’s most well-known areas, where political messages and images reflecting the Iranian government’s views on international issues are often displayed.
Photos circulated by international media outlets, including Al Jazeera and The New York Times, on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, show Trump lying inside an open black coffin. In the image, his eyes and mouth are closed, his hands are placed on his abdomen, and his feet are visible at the edge of the coffin.
The coffin carried the words “We will kill Trump,” written in Persian and English. There were also messages commemorating the “children of Minab,” a city in southern Iran where primary school students were killed on February 28 during attacks launched by the United States and Israel against Iran.
Near the billboard, an image of a clenched fist was also displayed, which was described as a symbol honoring Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iran has continued to say it will retaliate for the attacks that killed the leader.
In recent days, reports circulated claiming that Trump changed his aircraft while attending a NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, due to security concerns and fears of possible attacks. However, the reports were not confirmed by U.S. authorities.
Tensions between the United States and Iran continue to escalate, with both sides exchanging missile and drone attacks.
The United States says its attacks are aimed at destroying Iran’s military infrastructure and weakening its ability to launch attacks on ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran, meanwhile, continues to launch attacks on U.S. military bases located in various countries across the Middle East.
